Veteran Nollywood actor and broadcaster Patrick Doyle has welcomed a baby girl with his wife, Funmilayo Doyle.
Doyle shared the news in a Facebook post on Saturday, where he expressed gratitude to God for the new addition to his family. He disclosed that the child, named Omayinuwa Mayen Harriet Doyle, was born on Friday at about 10:40 a.m.
“To the glory of God, I announce the precious addition of a female child to my quiver
OMAYINUWA MAYEN HARRIET DOYLE was born yesterday at about 10:40 AM. Mother and child are doing well and daddy is overwhelmed with joy and gratitude to God Almighty,” he wrote.
His announcement has since been met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry.
The development follows the end of Doyle’s previous marriage to Nollywood actress Ireti Doyle.

In 2023, she confirmed their separation during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo on his programme WithChude.
“We are officially divorced,” she said.
The former couple, who got married in 2004 and have children together, had long faced speculation about challenges in their relationship before the divorce was publicly confirmed in 2023.
Ireti Doyle later explained that she initially chose to keep the matter private, noting that it was a family issue.
Following the divorce, Patrick Doyle remarried in early 2023.
