PDP Suspends Nasarawa Chairman Over Misconduct Claims

The Peoples Democratic Party in Nasarawa State has suspended its State Chairman, Adamu Bako Ninga, on Wednesday the 25th of March, 2026, over allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.

The decision came during a meeting of the party’s State Working Committee held on the same day. Members said they reviewed concerns about his conduct before reaching a conclusion.

In a suspension letter signed by the State Secretary, Kafas D. Kaura, the party said Ninga acted against its constitution.

“You are hereby suspended in view of multiple actions and inactions inconsistent with the provisions of the party constitution,” the statement read in part.
The party listed several accusations against him.

These include leaking sensitive party information to rival political groups, running leadership in a forceful manner, and making decisions without approval from the State Working Committee.

The suspension will last for one month while a disciplinary review is carried out.

The party said the action follows Section 57(3) of its constitution and added that further steps will depend on the outcome of the disciplinary process.
