Peller Narrowly Escapes Generator Fire At New Lagos Home

There was panic in the early hours of Saturday, February 21, 2026, after a generator fire broke out at the Lagos residence of popular TikTok content creator Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller.

The incident occurred at his newly occupied mansion when the generator powering the property suddenly caught fire, raising fears it could spread to the main building.

Peller shared a video of the incident on his social media platforms, describing the scare in an emotional caption.

“This happen early this morning, my new generator almost burn down my new house, but God saved us, it take us over 30 minutes to off the fire, All I can say is God saved us,” he wrote.

In the footage, visible flames could be seen rising from the generator area as occupants reacted in alarm. Peller was heard shouting in shock while directing those around him to act swiftly.

At one point, he called out to Jarvis, who was present in the house at the time, instructing her to switch off the gas as part of efforts to prevent the situation from escalating.

According to details shared in the video, it took more than 30 minutes to fully extinguish the blaze.

The fire was eventually contained before it could cause structural damage to the building, with only the generator reportedly affected.

No injuries or casualties were recorded, and all occupants of the house were confirmed safe.
