The Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, has expressed confidence in the leadership qualities of Peter Obi, saying he has the right vision to transform Nigeria if given the chance.
CUPP’s National Secretary, Peter Umeh, made this known on Monday, September 1, during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily.
He explained that Obi’s approach to leadership is not about simply occupying political office but about entering with a clear roadmap and ensuring full execution of his plans.

“What I want to tell people is that Peter Obi will get it right. He will get it right for the good of our people.
“It’s not about trying to be in office; it’s about trying to get into office with a plan and making sure these plans are executed,” Umeh said.
He also pushed back against claims that a single term of four years would be too short to achieve meaningful results, stressing that what matters most is purposeful leadership backed by deliberate action.
