Former Governor Peter Obi joined fellow residents of Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area, at the polls on Saturday to cast his vote in Anambra State’s governorship election.
He voted at Umudimakasi, Agulu Ward 2, Polling Unit 008.
Speaking after voting, Obi urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies to ensure that the election is conducted fairly and transparently.
He warned against vote‑buying, describing it as a threat to the integrity of the democratic process, and encouraged voters to make their choice based on conscience rather than money.
