Troops of Joint Task Force South East Operation UDO KA have recorded significant successes in ongoing operations against criminal elements across the South-East and South-South region, recovering arms and ammunition while disrupting suspected criminal networks.
The operations, carried out through intelligence-driven missions and collaboration with other security agencies, led to the arrest of several suspects and the recovery of weapons, military equipment and other incriminating items.
This was contained in a statement shared on the Nigerian Army’s Facebook page on Wednesday night.
In Cross River State, troops of 245 Battalion, in collaboration with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), conducted a raid on Balep Community along the Ikom–Ogoja Road.
