The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has confiscated a long container truck containing 70,000 litres of stolen petroleum products in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
The agency disclosed this in a post accompanied with photos shared on its X account on Monday.
According to NSCDC, the illegal fuel was hidden in an inbuilt storage tank within the truck.

The operation was carried out by the NSCDC Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad as part of ongoing efforts to combat oil theft and illegal bunkering in the region.
The post read, “NSCDC commandant general special intelligence squad impounds a long container truck with 70,000 stolen petroleum products stored inside an inbuilt storage tank in Port Harcourt.”
