The Nigeria Police Force has dismissed a viral “wanted” poster circulating on social media bearing the image of popular actress Iyabo Ojo, describing it as fake and misleading.
In a post shared on the Force’s Facebook page on Thursday, the NPF clarified that the poster did not originate from any of its official platforms and urged members of the public to disregard it.

“This ‘WANTED’ poster of actress Iyabo Ojo did not emanate from the Nigeria Police Force. It is false, misleading and was never posted on any official NPF platform,” the post read.
The police also cautioned against the spread of unverified information, stressing that citizens should confirm all updates only through official NPF communication channels.
