Police Raids Criminal Hideouts, Arrest 71 Suspects in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 71 suspects during coordinated raids on criminal hideouts and black spots across the territory.

In a post by security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, on Thursday, the operations was conducted by operatives from the Gwagwalada, Nyanya, Gwagwa, Kubwa, Apo, Utako, Life Camp, Karmo, Jikwoyi, Kurudu, and Asokoro Divisions, targeted uncompleted buildings and other criminal enclaves within their respective areas of responsibility.

It was gathered that the suspects are currently undergoing screening and interrogation at the various divisions.

Those found culpable would be charged to court upon completion of investigations.

The Command reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining regular intelligence-led raids and patrols across the FCT to rid the city of criminal elements and ensure the safety of residents.
