The Nigerian music scene has been thrown into mourning following the death of Ifeoma Edith Ajibade, mother of renowned singer and entrepreneur, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi.
The heartbreaking news was shared by the artist on Instagram Thursday, March 6, alongside a touching tribute and a photo of himself and his late mother.
Expressing his deep sorrow, Mr Eazi penned, “Thank you, Mummy, for your strength, your sacrifices, your unwavering faith. For raising us with love, discipline, and devotion to God. For teaching me confidence, entrepreneurship, forgiveness, and family.”
The ‘Skin Tight’ crooner described his late mother as his “greatest protector, toughest critic, and truest fan.”
He added, “You were not perfect, but you were perfect to me. Your legacy lives on. Rest well, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade.”
