Primate Ayodele Predicts International Opposition To Tinubu’s 2027 Re-Election Bid

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has claimed that the international community may pose a major challenge to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Speaking through a statement released on Tuesday by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric said although Tinubu possesses the political strength needed to secure victory, resistance from some foreign powers could threaten his re-election chances.

According to Ayodele, countries such as the United States, United Kingdom and the European Union may align with opposition forces in a bid to unseat the president in 2027.

He further stated that Tinubu remains determined to retain power and would strongly resist any political attempts aimed at stopping his re-election bid.

The cleric warned opposition parties not to underestimate the president’s political influence, stressing that defeating Tinubu would require a well-organised and aggressive strategy.

Ayodele also repeated his earlier position that opposition parties stand little chance of defeating the ruling party if they remain divided ahead of the next general election.

According to him, unity among opposition leaders would be crucial if they intend to challenge Tinubu successfully at the polls.

He maintained that continued divisions within opposition camps would only strengthen the chances of the ruling party retaining power in 2027.
