Raheem Sterling Faces Arrest Over Alleged Drug-Driving Offences After Crash

Former England international and Feyenoord winger Raheem Sterling has been arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and other alleged offences following a road traffic accident in England.

According to reports, the 31-year-old was detained by police after the Lamborghini he was driving crashed into barriers on the M3 motorway in Hampshire. Authorities said no other vehicles were involved in the incident and no injuries were reported.

Police confirmed that the driver, identified as a 31-year-old man from Berkshire, was arrested on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs, dangerous driving, possession of a Class C drug, and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.

Sterling was later released on bail while investigations continue. Authorities have not announced any formal charges, and the case remains under investigation.

The former Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal star joined Dutch side Feyenoord earlier this year after leaving Chelsea. He remains one of England’s most decorated players of the past decade, having earned 82 international caps and won multiple major honours during his club career.
