Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly dismissed allegations of drug abuse after undergoing a drug test that returned a negative result, a move she says was aimed at clearing her name and protecting her integrity as a mother.

The actress explained that she chose to take the test to directly confront claims made by her former husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, who had allegedly accused her of being a drug addict and unfit to raise a child.
