Remo Stars have made history by winning the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title for the very first time, following a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Niger Tornadoes on Sunday.
With just one game left in the 2024/2025 season, Remo Stars now sit comfortably at the top of the NPFL table with 68 points from 35 matches, putting them out of reach of their closest challengers.
The lone goal of the match came in the second half, courtesy of Adedayo O. who slotted home in the 84th munite.

The narrow win was enough to crown Remo Stars champions and trigger wild celebrations both in the stadium and across Ogun State.
With their historic triumph, Remo Stars have also secured a spot in next season’s CAF Champions League, where they’ll look to carry their domestic success to the continental stage.
