The Rivers State House of Assembly has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Chairman of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), Justice Adolphus Enebeli (retd), to appear before it regarding the conduct of the 2024 local government election.
The summon was issued during Wednesday’s plenary session presided over by Speaker Martin Amaewhule.
The House warned that failure of the RSIEC Chairman to honour the invitation within the stipulated time would lead to the issuance of an arrest warrant against him.
