Rivers State Deputy Governor, Professor Ngozi Nma Odu, has formally enrolled as a member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area.
The registration took place at Ward 8, Unit 11, in Akabuka town, confirming her decision to align with the ruling party.
Her move follows closely after Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s recent entry into the APC, further signalling shifting political loyalties within the state’s leadership.
Odu completed her registration during a tour of the six zones that make up ONELGA.

While addressing participants, the deputy governor encouraged eligible citizens to take advantage of the registration exercise, urging widespread participation to strengthen the party’s presence at the grassroots level.
She also called on supporters to show commitment to President Bola Tinubu and Governor Fubara, noting that sustained mobilisation would be important as the party positions itself for upcoming elections.
The APC’s electronic registration drive is aimed at expanding its membership and consolidating its structure across Rivers State.
