Rosy Meurer has responded to renewed criticism over what many described as conflicting statements regarding the collapsed marriage between Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill.
Her reaction followed a recent video in which she denied ever knowing, meeting, or sharing any personal relationship with Dikeh during her marriage to Churchill.
Recall that the former couple officially parted ways in 2017 amid allegations that Churchill had an extramarital affair with Meurer, who was widely speculated at the time to have been close to Dikeh.
Rejecting the accusations back then, Meurer maintained in an earlier clip that she was simply a family friend of the pair.
‘”He (Churchill) and his wife remain family to me. We once hang out together before,” Meurer said at the time.
Years after the divorce, Meurer and Churchill tied the knot, a development that stirred intense reactions online, with critics accusing her of betraying a friendship.

Addressing the lingering controversy on Wednesday, the 18th of February, 2026, through a fresh Instagram video, Meurer insisted she never had any prior relationship with Dikeh, a position that sparked fresh backlash over perceived inconsistencies.
Reacting in a detailed post on Instagram, she explained that her earlier remarks describing the former couple as “family friends” were made under pressure from her management team at the time.
While claiming that she was forced to lie, she said, “You want me to hang on to the nonsense old video I made in fear due to the fact that I was so young and innocent.
“I was dragged into violence by force. With all the pressure then, PR team will make you say many things even if you don’t feel it is right. Right now whatever I say is THE REAL TRUTH. I am now older and wiser. No PR team can force me to say what they believed is better than my truth. If you like, bring videos of 1000 years ago. It does not change my reality.”
