Nigerian music star Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, boldly called Skales, has expressed deep gratitude to his former record label boss, Bankole Wellington, aka Banky W, for funding his university education.
The fantastic singer took to his X handle on the 20th of March, 2025, where he proudly displayed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration certificate, a document he had earned years ago but only recently received.
Skales dedicated the long-overdue certificate to his late mother, acknowledging her unwavering influence on his journey. In a heartfelt caption, he wrote:
“Aye my BSc showed up after many years of graduation!
“This is for my mother and thank you to @BankyW for sponsoring the boy through school.”

Recall that the singer’s music career took off in 2009 when he signed with Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E), helmed by Banky W.
However, he parted ways with the label in 2014 following the expiration of his contract.
It is widely believed that Banky W ensured both Skales and his then-label mate, Wizkid, were enrolled at Lead City University, though the latter later opted out to fully pursue his musical ambitions.
