The Super Eagles have unveiled a rotated lineup for Tuesday’s international friendly against Egypt at the Cairo International Stadium, opting to rest key players ahead of critical Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Head coach Eric Chelle named several fringe players and young talents in the starting XI, allowing stars such as Victor Osimhen to conserve energy.
The starting lineup, announced via the official Super Eagles X account, features Stanley Nwabali in goal, with a defensive line comprising Bright Osayi-Samuel, Sanusi, Ogbu, Onyeka, and Dele Bashiru. Midfield responsibilities will be handled by Raphael Onyedika and newcomer Akinsamiro, while Onuachu and Ejuke spearhead the attack.
Substitutes include Uzoho, Obasogie, Ndidi, Ajayi, Lookman, Cybriel, Onyemaechi, Muhammed, Iwobi, Bassey, Akoh, and Lawal.
