Tinubu Approves Deployment Of Four New Permanent Secretaries 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the deployment of four newly appointed Federal Permanent Secretaries as part of efforts to strengthen governance and improve service delivery.

The development was announced on May 4, 2026, as part of the administration’s drive to enhance policy implementation under its Renewed Hope Agenda.

The affected officials, who recently emerged through a competitive selection process, have been assigned to key offices across the federal civil service.

Those deployed include Mrs Bekearedebo Augusta Warrens from Bayelsa State, posted to Political and Economic Affairs, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation; Dr Kamil Ayinde Shoretire from Ogun State, assigned to the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment; Mrs Nkiruka Bella Jones-Nebo from Enugu State, posted to the Career Management Office under the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation; and Mr Sani Yargaya Aminu from Kano State, assigned to Special Services, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, congratulated the appointees and urged them to demonstrate professionalism, accountability and result-driven leadership in their new roles.

She said the deployment is aimed at optimising performance, strengthening inter-ministerial collaboration and driving sustainable development across critical sectors.

The Federal Government expressed confidence that the new Permanent Secretaries will bring their experience and expertise to bear in advancing national development priorities.
