President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Chief Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), on his birthday, December 13.
The congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
In the statement, President Tinubu praised Chief Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, as a top performer who overcomes obstacles and delivers results.
He highlighted the Minister’s role in transforming the FCT, including his intervention that ended a 14-year delay in constructing the Apo-Karshi road.
The President commended Chief Wike for his resilience, can-do attitude, and commitment to excellence.

“Nyesom Wike has been one of the shining stars in the cabinet, developing infrastructure in the Federal Capital as never seen before, proving that his moniker as ‘Mr Project’ extends beyond his home state of Rivers,” the statement said.
President Tinubu also acknowledged Chief Wike’s contribution to the Renewed Hope Agenda, despite belonging to a different political party, wishing him strength and continued success in his work.
