Tinubu: My Japan, Brazil Trips Will Translate Into Growth, Prosperity

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his recent diplomatic engagements in Japan and Brazil will yield tangible benefits in the form of jobs, investments, and sustained economic growth.

In a post on his official X handle on Thursday, Tinubu said he was glad to be back home after what he described as “fruitful engagements” that advanced Nigeria’s pride and dignity on the global stage.

“In Japan, we deepened ties that will bring new investments in industry, technology, and human capital. In Brazil, we advanced partnerships in trade, agriculture, aviation, and finance, while also engaging with our own business leaders to strengthen confidence in our economy,” the president stated.

Tinubu stressed that every handshake, agreement, and meeting during his trips was guided by the single goal of creating opportunities that would translate into growth and prosperity for Nigerians both at home and in the diaspora.

According to him, the new Nigeria being built is one anchored on sustainable reforms, resilience, and confidence, rather than rhetoric.

“The journey is not without challenges, but with unity of purpose and courage to reform, I firmly believe the best is on the horizon,” Tinubu said.
