President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned the deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, directing security agencies to launch an intensified manhunt for those responsible.
The President described the assault, which reportedly claimed about 30 lives, including women and children, as a brutal act of terrorism against innocent citizens and vowed that the perpetrators would be brought to justice.
Tinubu’s reaction was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
The attack, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, also left several homes destroyed after they were set ablaze by the attackers.
Condemning the incident, the President said those behind the violence would not be allowed to undermine the peace and stability that Kaduna State has recorded in recent times.
“Those who seek to destabilise the hard-fought peace and security, which Kaduna State has enjoyed in recent times, will not go unpunished,” Tinubu said.

He extended his sympathies to the bereaved families, Governor Uba Sani, the Kaduna State Government and residents affected by the tragedy.
Tinubu assured the affected communities of the Federal Government’s commitment to restoring peace, revealing that he had directed the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force and intelligence agencies to step up operations in the area.
“I have directed the Armed Forces, police, and relevant intelligence agencies to intensify operations across the affected areas to track down the perpetrators swiftly, secure the release of abducted individuals, and restore normalcy to the region,” he stated.
The President reiterated his administration’s resolve to strengthen Nigeria’s security architecture through improved equipment, enhanced operational capacity and sustained efforts to dismantle criminal networks threatening national peace.
He also appealed to residents to work closely with security agencies by providing credible and timely intelligence that could help prevent future attacks and improve emergency response efforts.
