Tinubu Praises Ondo Lawmaker Adefarati’s Decades of Service on 60th Birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Adegboyega Adefarati, the lawmaker representing Akoko South-East/South-West Federal Constituency of Ondo State, on his 60th birthday, which falls on November 19.

The congratulatory message was conveyed in a statement on Tuesday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga. The statement, titled “President Tinubu congratulates Adegboyega Adefarati on his 60th birthday,” praised the legislator’s contributions to national development and democratic consolidation.

According to the statement, Tinubu described Adefarati as a patriotic Nigerian whose decades of service as a teacher and banker, combined with political experience, have had a significant impact on the nation. The President highlighted the lawmaker’s role as Chairman of the House Committee on Labour, Productivity and Employment, noting his efforts in fostering industrial harmony between the government and labour unions.

Tinubu also acknowledged Adefarati’s advocacy for stronger legislative interventions in infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and economic growth. The President commended the legislator’s consistent, credible, and impactful voice in the National Assembly.

He wished Adefarati renewed strength, good health, and continued success in the years ahead.
