President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Wednesday, August 14, for an official visit to Japan and Brazil, with a brief stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, before the first leg of the journey.
Although the Presidency has yet to release a full itinerary, sources indicate that the visits are expected to focus on strengthening bilateral ties, trade, and investment opportunities. In Japan, Tinubu is likely to engage with government officials, business leaders, and potential investors, building on Nigeria’s existing economic and technological cooperation with the Asian nation.
From Japan, the President will travel to Brazil, where discussions are expected to centre on expanding agricultural collaboration, energy partnerships, and cultural exchange.
