President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigerians to remain patient and supportive of ongoing government reforms, stressing that meaningful national transformation requires collective sacrifice.
In his Easter message released on Friday, the President reflected on the spiritual essence of the season, drawing parallels between the themes of sacrifice, resilience, and renewal, and Nigeria’s journey toward economic recovery and stability.
Tinubu acknowledged that while the reforms introduced by his administration may have placed immediate pressure on citizens, they are designed to deliver long-term prosperity.
“True transformation cannot be achieved without sacrifice, and history affirms that enduring progress is often forged in moments such as these,” he said.
The President also addressed ongoing security and economic challenges, commending the efforts of the Armed Forces in combating terrorism and banditry across the country.
He assured Nigerians that his administration remains committed to strengthening security through improved resources and strategic international partnerships.
