The Putman family is grieving after a devastating car accident in Tuscola County, Michigan, claimed the lives of three family members: patriarch Bill “Papa” Putman, matriarch Barb “Neenee” Putman, and daughter-in-law Megan Putman.
The accident occurred on Friday night, September 26, 2025, when a semi-truck reportedly ran a stop sign and collided with the family’s Jeep.
Five other family members, including uncle Blake and children Lulu, Alena, Noah, and niece Gia, were hospitalized, some in critical condition.
The semi-truck driver and his passenger sustained minor injuries and have been taken into custody.
The family shared the tragic news on their official Instagram account, @growingupputman, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, four days after celebrating Papa Putman’s birthday.

In the post, they asked for prayers and expressed their faith, writing:
“We are asking for complete healing and strength for each of them, and for our whole family as we walk through this deep loss. Even in this valley, we will praise Him.”
Known for their appearances on TLC’s Meet the Putmans and their YouTube series Growing Up Putman, the family has requested privacy during this difficult period and thanked fans and well-wishers for their support.
