Troops of the Nigerian Army have arrested a suspected logistics supplier to terrorist elements in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
The arrest was disclosed in a report shared on Thursday by security analyst Zagazola Makama, who cited operational updates from military sources.
According to the report, the suspect was apprehended by troops of the 22 Brigade under Operation Savannah Shield during a routine patrol around the Dekara axis.
The operation was said to have been carried out at about 5:30 p.m. on April 27 by personnel deployed from the Forward Operating Base in Babanna.

Items reportedly recovered from the suspect include three jerrycans of red oil, two bags of beans, a carton of electrodes, and a cash sum of ₦243,000.
Preliminary findings suggest that the individual was allegedly involved in transporting supplies from Babanna to Dekara village for suspected terrorist groups operating within the area.
Security sources further indicated that the suspect remains in military custody and is undergoing interrogation as authorities intensify efforts to uncover the full scope of the supply network and determine appropriate legal action.
