JetHQ, the US-based firm tasked with selling Nigeria’s presidential Boeing 737-700 Business Jet, has withdrawn the aircraft from its listings as of 4 December 2025, halting the government’s disposal plan.
The jet, acquired in 2005, was put up for sale in July 2025 as part of the administration’s fleet rationalisation drive but remained unsold for months.
Before the listing, it underwent partial refurbishment in 2024, including cabin upgrades and mandatory inspections, to enhance its market readiness.
JetHQ confirmed it no longer holds the listing and directed further enquiries to the Nigerian government.

Officials have yet to clarify whether the jet will be re-listed, handled through another broker, or retained in the Presidential Air Fleet.
The move raises fresh questions about the fate of the aircraft and the government’s broader efforts to streamline fleet operations and reduce maintenance costs.
