Actor Uzor Arukwe has urged single women to focus on building themselves before seeking to marry wealthy or caring men.
The Nollywood star gave this advice while responding to online comments praising his portrayal of Odogwu, a generous billionaire lover, in the film Love In Every World 2. Many viewers had described the character as their dream partner.
Arukwe explained that Chioma, Odogwu’s love interest played by Bambam, was already a valuable and hardworking woman before her partner began supporting her. According to him, Odogwu didn’t need to question her role in their relationship because her industrious nature was obvious.

The role interpreter encouraged women to invest in self-growth and value creation, saying that men of worth are naturally drawn to women who have already built themselves.
On his X handle, he wrote, “While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her. He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman. So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle.”
