VIDEO: Bariga Renames Popular Charley Boy Bus Stop After Olamide ‘Baddo Bus Stop’

The Bariga Local Council Development Area in Lagos State has renamed the popular ‘Charly Boy’ bus stop after award-winning rapper and singer Olamide Adedeji, popularly known as Badoo.

The announcement was made in a video shared by TVC on its X handle on Saturday.

The council chairman, Kolade Alabi David, announced the development on Friday, stating that the move is part of efforts to honor individuals who have brought pride to Bariga and contributed to Nigeria’s global image.

Alabi also disclosed that Ilaje Road has been renamed after veteran Juju musician, King Sunny Adé.

Olamide, a native of Bariga, is regarded as one of Nigeria’s most influential music stars, with a career spanning over a decade.
