A video circulating on social media has captured a violent altercation between a lecturer and a female student at the Niger Delta University, Bayelsa State.
A viral video on social media shows a physical altercation between a lecturer and a female student in a lecture hall.
The video shared by a Facebook user identified as Thisis Bayelsa, on Monday, quickly went viral on Wednesday, shows the lecturer and the student exchanging blows inside a lecture hall, with the lecturer at one point headbutting the student.
The incident reportedly occured after the lecturer caught the student allegedly engaging in examination malpractice and asked her to leave the hall.
The student, however, refused, insisting on retrieving her phone.
“Young lady, leave the hall first. You were caught cheating. Instead of you to leave the hall, you’re still doing ‘give me my phone,’” the voice was heard saying in the video.
