The Saudi authorities have reportedly arrested two women believed to be the wife and mother of notorious bandit kingpin, Ado Aliero.
First News correspondent learnt that the women were picked up in Medina, where they had allegedly been living under false identities.
Multiple reports indicate that their arrest is linked to an intelligence-led operation targeting those connected to armed groups in Nigeria.

Aliero, wanted for deadly attacks and kidnappings in the Northwest, remains one of Nigeria’s most wanted men.
Although the identities and specific roles of the women have not been confirmed, sources indicate they may possess critical information about Aliero’s whereabouts and financial operations.
Security agencies in Nigeria are said to be working with Saudi counterparts as investigations continue.
