The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, has extended Eid-el-Kabir greetings to civil servants across the country, urging them to remain committed to professionalism, integrity and national development.
In her Eid-el-Kabir message to civil servants and their families on Wednesday, Walson-Jack said the celebration serves as a reminder of the values of sacrifice, dedication, tolerance and commitment to the collective good, which she described as essential to effective public service.
She noted that the principles associated with the Islamic festival align with the core values of the civil service and the collective responsibility of building a stronger nation.
According to her, civil servants must continue to uphold high standards of accountability, diligence, patriotism and service excellence in the discharge of their duties.
The Head of Service encouraged public workers to remain steadfast and dedicated to serving Nigerians while contributing meaningfully to national growth and development.

Walson-Jack also prayed for peace, unity and prosperity across the country, expressing hope that the Eid-el-Kabir celebration would bring renewed hope, joy and divine blessings to Nigerians.
“May this blessed celebration bring renewed hope, peace, joy, divine favour, and abundant blessings to every home,” she stated.
She further prayed for God’s guidance and protection over the nation while wishing civil servants and their loved ones a peaceful and memorable Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
