Several Nigerian ministers, including Nyesom Wike and Dave Umahi, are set to travel to London for an international press conference where they will present the achievements of their respective ministries under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
This was disclosed on Tuesday, May 13, by Bode Adeyemi, Project Internal Coordinator of the President Bola Tinubu Midterm Legacy Projects Review Committee, during a press briefing in Abuja.
Adeyemi said the event would serve as a platform for government officials and heads of key agencies to highlight the administration’s legacy projects to the international community.
Expected attendees include Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission Gbenga Komolafe, Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria Usman Osidi, and Federal Inland Revenue Service Chairman Zacheous Adedeji, among others.
“President Bola Tinubu’s government has made unprecedented achievements under twenty-four months of administration despite all the distractions and the global economic situation.
“We have painstakingly taken detailed records of all major achievements of this administration and confirm that every well-meaning Nigerian and the international community alike should be proud of the Midas touch President Bola Tinubu has given to Nigeria’s leadership, which has culminated in a verifiable success story,” Adeyemi said.

He noted that all the projects have been compiled into a compendium and will also be available on a website to be launched during the event.
“We commend honourable ministers, Director Generals of agencies, heads of commissions and departments for their relentless efforts that have brought about the success this administration has recorded,” he added.
Speaking earlier during a meeting of the organising team, the Chairman of the APC UK Chapter, Tunde Doherty, said the London event would help present the true narrative of governance in Nigeria and counter what he described as propaganda by opposition groups.
According to him, the Tinubu administration has recorded strides in infrastructure, economy, job creation, healthcare, security, aviation, and digital innovation.
“The singular fact that Nigerian and private refineries started production under this administration is an unforgettable achievement.
“The local government autonomy push by the President is another giant stride, and the Lagos-Calabar Coastal road, Sokoto-Badagry superhighway, IMF debt repayment, removal of subsidies that have doubled allocation to states, enforcement of the rule of law and security are giant strides the Tinubu administration will always be remembered for,” Doherty said.
