Clara Nnabuife, a member of the House of Representatives, has defected from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Nnabuife, who represents Orumba North/Orumba South Federal Constituency in Anambra State, attributed her decision to being sidelined in YPP’s activities.

Her defection was formally announced on Thursday, March 27, during plenary when Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu read her letter on the House floor.
“The exclusion from the activities of YPP and the need to embrace a better platform to represent the wishes of my people is the reason for this decision,” the letter stated.
