Fear continues to grip Zamfara State as suspected bandits stormed the Jangeru community on Thursday night, abducting two residents just a day after a brutal attack on worshippers.
Renowned Northwest-based security analyst, Bakatsine, confirmed the disturbing development in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on the 31st of January, 2025.
“Last night, bandits return to Jangeru community and abducted two people. This is coming barely 24hrs after Bello Turji’s group attacked worshippers in the community, where they killed, injured, and kidnapped several people,” he wrote.
The latest abduction follows Wednesday night’s horror in Shanawa community, where notorious bandit leader Bello Turji and his ruthless gang unleashed terror on a mosque.
The assault left several worshippers injured, with an unknown number kidnapped, deepening the region’s security crisis.
