Nigerian disc jockey DJ Dope Caesar has dismissed claims of her death and blamed Instablog for spreading the false report.
In a video shared on her Instagram page on Monday, the DJ reassured fans she was alive and well, saying: “Nothing happened to me. I’m very okay.”
Her reaction came hours after Instablog published a post announcing her alleged demise. Responding in the caption of her own post, she tagged Instablog and wrote: “Whoever paid you to post that rubbish, na all of una sabi.”

The false report had gained traction online before her statement. Known for her street-style image and high-energy performances, Dope Caesar did not only reveal the origin of the rumour but expressed gratitude to those who checked in on her.
