Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has spoken publicly about her separation from her children, describing the emotional strain and questioning the conduct of their father.
In a statement released Monday, Daniels said, “People may believe that I am happy, but no mother can be at peace while separated from her children. I chose not to allow that pain to define or imprison me, which is why it took time for me to walk away.”
She raised concerns over the repeated public exposure of her children, suggesting it reflects a deliberate pursuit of negative attention.
Regina also questioned whether her ex-husband’s actions were motivated by public engagement rather than parental responsibility, given his experience as a public figure with legislative background.

Daniels said she last spoke to her children in mid-November, alleging that their father dismissed her nannies, pressured them into making false statements about her, and has filed for full custody despite already having the children in his care.
“Being a mother is central to who I am, and I miss being with my children,” Daniels added. “It is concerning if their father believes I won’t fight to see them. I will definitely see my kids soon.”
