Weeks of family tension inside the Nwoko household have escalated again, with fresh claims from Rita Daniels, mother of Nollywood star Regina Daniels, that her daughter’s husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, has ordered her arrest.
The allegation surfaced after Regina shared a private chat on her Instagram Story.
In the chat, Rita said the lawmaker directed that she be picked up on or before next Monday. She did not state the reason for the alleged move, but the claim has stirred more concern around the already troubled family.
This is the latest twist in a crisis that has grown steadily worse. Earlier in the conflict, Regina’s brother, SammyWest, was arrested and taken to Keffi prison. His detention triggered online conversations, with fans questioning what had gone wrong inside the home of the popular actress.
Regina herself has publicly shown signs of distress. In a video where she broke down in tears, the actress said she felt overwhelmed and mentally unstable.

“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” she said tearfully.
The mother of two ended the video by saying she “will go back.”
Neither Nwoko nor his media handlers have issued a clear response to Rita’s latest claims.
For now, the family remains silent, and onlookers continue to monitor the unfolding situation, waiting for answers on what led to the breakdown and how it will end.
