Tinubu Delivers on Promise as Super Eagles Receive AFCON Housing Rewards

The Super Eagles have received the house allocations promised by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following their runners-up finish at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, in a move seen as a major boost for the national team.

The allocation documents were presented to the players on Monday night in Fès, Morocco, by the Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Shehu Dikko, alongside the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and other top sports officials.

President Tinubu had pledged the housing rewards when he received the team on their return to Nigeria after the AFCON tournament in Côte d’Ivoire, where the Super Eagles impressed with a spirited run to the final.

In addition to the housing gifts, the players were also honoured with national awards, as each member of the squad was conferred with the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) in recognition of their performance and dedication to national duty.
