The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has projected a significant surge in its membership database, stating that the party’s ongoing digital registration exercise is expected to exceed nine million enrollees within the first two weeks.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, the 12th of January, 2026, the National Chairman of the party, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, expressed strong optimism about the pace and success of the exercise.
In the same vein, the party’s National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, revealed that more than two million Nigerians had already completed the registration process within the first week of the initiative.
Basiru noted that the availability of credible and comprehensive data would greatly improve the party’s internal coordination and overall effectiveness.

“Any state that is found lagging, the National Working Committee has been given the latitude to change the coordinator of such state,” he said.
