The apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, has congratulated Francis Nwifuru on his 51st birthday, describing him as a transformational and responsible leader.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the National Publicity Secretary of the group, Dr Ezechi Chukwu, commended the Ebonyi State governor for what he termed his dedication to public service and commitment to responsible leadership.
Chukwu said Nwifuru’s administration has recorded visible progress across critical sectors of the state’s economy, including education, infrastructure, healthcare, youth empowerment and social welfare.
He noted that the governor’s approach to governance has inspired confidence among citizens and stakeholders, adding that his leadership journey reflects resilience, hard work and selfless service.

The statement said, “On behalf of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide and in concert with our President-General, Senator Azuta Mbata, we extend our heartfelt felicitations to Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as he marks his 51st birthday.
“From his humble beginnings to his rise through legislative leadership into the office of governor, he has demonstrated unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people of Ebonyi State and the advancement of good governance in Nigeria.”
The group prayed for the governor’s continued good health, wisdom and strength to lead the state to greater heights.
