Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face host nation Morocco in the semi-final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 p.m. at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
Nigeria secured their place in the last four of the tournament after a convincing 2-0 victory over Algeria at the Stade de Marrakech on Wednesday. The win ended Algeria’s unbeaten run in the competition and set up a high-stakes semi-final clash against the tournament hosts.
The Super Eagles had earlier advanced to the quarter-final with an emphatic 4-0 win over Mozambique in the Round of 16. Nigeria have now scored 12 goals in four matches, the highest tally at the tournament.

Algeria went into the quarter-final with a strong defensive reputation, having conceded just one goal in four matches before their defeat to Nigeria.
Morocco, meanwhile, booked their semi-final spot after defeating Cameroon in their quarter-final encounter.
The semi-final showdown in Rabat is expected to attract significant attention as Nigeria seek a place in the final against the hosts on home soil.
