Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), turned an official inspection at Sam Ethnan Air Force Base, Ikeja, Lagos, into a deeply personal and inspiring visit on Saturday, February 7, 2026, as he revisited the home where he spent his formative years.
During the tour, Aneke walked through the residential quarters where he lived for more than a decade with his family while his father, a retired Air Warrant Officer, served at the base.
The CAS inspected the flat units he once called home, reflecting on his childhood experiences and the environment that shaped his early values and eventual career in the Nigerian Air Force.
