The All Progressives Congress has extended the deadline for the sale and submission of its Expression of Interest and Nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Duro Meseko, announced the revision on Thursday, April 30, 2026, in Abuja after the 187th National Working Committee meeting.
Under the new timeline, form sales will now close at midnight on Monday, May 4, 2026, while submission has been extended to midnight on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from the earlier May 2 deadline.
Screening of aspirants across all offices is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

Meseko said the adjustment affects only the sale and submission window, citing disruptions caused by the Friday public holiday and requests from aspirants for more time.
The party had initially fixed April 25 to May 2, 2026, for the exercise, but it commenced behind schedule.
Meanwhile, APC stakeholders in Taraba State have secured nomination forms for Governor Agbu Kefas, signalling early support for his 2027 re-election bid.
The forms were collected in Abuja by a delegation led by Senator Haruna Manu, who said the move reflects broad consensus among party leaders in the state.
The APC is expected to hold its primaries later in 2026 as part of preparations for the 2027 polls.
