This was a major challenge APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, received the delegation alongside National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, and National Woman Leader, Dr Mary Alile-Idele. Prof. Murtala Yusuf represented the ADC contingent, while Mohammed Rabiu led the NDC group from Kaduna State.

The reception follows a similar event on September 28, when the APC announced the defection of former ADC legislative candidates. The ADC subsequently disputed the political credentials of those presented at that event.

The latest development comes as parties intensify efforts to consolidate support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
