Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has offered fans a glimpse into her recovery process after recently undergoing major surgery.
The singer shared a series of photographs on her Instagram page on Friday, giving supporters an update on her health as she continues to recover from the procedure.
The images captured quiet moments from her recovery journey and came just days after she disclosed that she had undergone surgery and would be taking time away from the spotlight to recuperate.
Earlier, the award-winning artiste apologised to fans for her reduced online presence, revealing that the recovery process had been more difficult than she had initially anticipated.

“Hey Mobstarrs, I’m sorry you’re not seeing as much of me as I would like. I had major surgery a few days ago. I was hoping it would be a quick recovery, but it was more complicated than they expected,” she wrote.
Despite the challenges, Ayra Starr reassured her supporters that she was gradually regaining her strength and would soon return to work.
The singer has also continued to promote her forthcoming project, Starrgirl, urging fans to support the release while she focuses on her recovery.
The update comes amid growing excitement surrounding her Hollywood acting debut in Children of Blood and Bone, in which she stars alongside internationally acclaimed actors Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Cynthia Erivo, Damson Idris and Richard Mofe-Damijo.
