Big Brother Naija Season 10 champion, Opeyemi Ayanwale, better known as Imisi, has revealed that her triumph in the recently concluded reality show came as a complete surprise.
During her interview with Arise TV after the show, on Wednesday, the 8th of October, 2025, Imisi shared that she had not anticipated winning and was not even dressed for such a moment when she appeared on stage last Sunday, the 5th of October.
She recounted how she struggled with nervousness moments before the winner was announced.
“Winning the reality show was shocking to me. Sincerely, I was not expecting to win.
“Before I got the show, I was tensed just hearing the crowd chant my name. I was shocked when I was announced the winner.

“I wore crocs to the stage because I am not comfortable in heels. I did not even plan for the live show,” she expressed.
Imisi defeated her strongest contender, Dede, by a significant margin to clinch the Big Brother Naija Season 10 title.
She received her grand prize of N150 million, including N80 million in cash and a brand-new Innoson SUV, on Tuesday, the 7th of October 2025.
