Benue Assembly Suspends Six Members Over Speaker Impeachment Plot

The Benue State House of Assembly has sanctioned six of its members, handing them a six-month suspension for moves linked to the bid to impeach the Speaker, Aondona Dajoh.

Those affected include Alfred Berger, who represents Makurdi North, Terna Shimawua from Kian State Constituency, Cyril Ekong of Obi State Constituency, and James Umoru, the lawmaker representing Apa State Constituency.
